VICTORY! Re: Dead dolphins

Thanks to your support the largest online retailer in the world, Amazon.com, has officially banned all whale and dolphin products from its sites.
Melissa Sehgal, an Amazon customer currently living in Japan, created a petition on Change.org when she heard that the company recently pulled dolphin and whale meat from its site, but refused to put a permanent ban in place. You signed Melissa's petition, shared it with friends, family, and co-workers -- and it worked!
More than 200,000 people signed Melissa's petition in a week -- and in response, Amazon put in place a new policy prohibiting the sale of "parts or products from whale or dolphin" on all of its websites. Now, every retailer in the world is on notice that consumers won't tolerate the slaughter of dolphins and whales.
Thousands of people like you and Melissa are using Change.org to start, join, and win campaigns for change every week.
From issues in your own backyard to the global scale, is there something you're passionate about or a change you want to make happen? Click here to start your own petition -- it only takes two minutes.

P.S. -- Did you see the great article about Change.org in Bloomberg Business News? It mentions this campaign and at one point it says, "we now know that it takes only one changemaker to begin fixing things, large and small." Click here to read the whole article.
